We are witnesses!!!

LeBron Kobe

LeBron > Kobe

As much as it pains me to say, being a Laker fan, LeBron James is the King of the basketball court. LeBron does everything, he scores, he rebounds, and he (gasp) passes, unlike Ko-me Bryant. When Bryant scored 61 points against the Knicks, he had ZERO rebounds and three assists. Then LeBron comes in and scores 52 points, 9 rebounds, and 11 assists. LeBron does more with less, he has made the playoffs, and even the NBA finals with far less talent than anyone else. Now with a little bit of help from Mo Williams, the Cavaliers are one of the top teams in the league. Look for them to challenge the Celtics (they took them to seven, with Lebron scoring 45 points in the final game) and the Lakers in the playoffs. LeBron will win the MVP, as he should, as he makes everyone around him better, just look at Mo Williams, who is not only averaging a career high in points, but is now going to the all-star game. If you compare the rosters between the Celtics (Garnett, Pierce, Allen, Rondo, Perkins), Lakers (Kobe, Fisher, Odom, Bynum, Gasol), and Cavaliers (James, West, Williams, Gibson, and Žydrūnas Ilgauskas), it is clear that the Lakers and Celtics have a much better lineup, but because of LeBron, the Cavaliers are right up there with these two teams. Ko-me can score, and score well, but that is all Ko-me does. LeBron does everything, and still scores more than Kobe Bryant. I think the debate has long been settled, and there is plenty of evidence to back it up. Lebron is the best player in the league, and yes, better than Kobe Bryant. I am a Laker fan, so I like Kobe, but I would take LeBron over Ko-me any day of the week.
