James Harden, move over

If a conversation were to come up about the top 2 guards in the NCAA, 99 out of 100 guys would say, Stephen Curry out of Davidson and James Harden out of Arizona State.  Well, James Harden can kiss my ass.

After Jodie’s 54 point night, which got followed by Stephen Curry’s 39 point night against powerhouse Elon, James Harden went out against a struggling USC squad and scored a Mark Coury-esque 4 points. He failed to make a shot, going 0-8 from the field, including 0-2 from downtown.

Jodie Meeks’s worst game came against then-ranked Miami (FL).  He only scored 10 points on 4-17 shooting, 2-12 from downtown.  We will leave out Curry’s lowest scoring game against Loyola (MD) where he scored ZERO points.  Loyola’s coach however, had an unorthodox approach to the game, where he had his guys double teaming Curry everywhere he went.  So, his worst statistical game came under the spotlight against the mighty 2-2 in their conference Purdue Boilermakers.  He scored 13 points on 5-26 shooting, including 2-12 from downtown.

I am not saying Jodie Meeks is the best guard in the nation, which I think he is, I just want Jodie to get some national attention.  He deserves it.  He leads all BCS conferences in scoring, and I bet 60 percent of college basketball fans are just now learning his name.  If he had a Duke jersey on, he would probably have is own reality show by now.  If we replace UK’s conference schedule with the likes of Elon, Chattanooga, The Citadel, Wofford and so on, he might average 35 a game.

James Harden, move over!!!!!!  It’s either Jodie or Stephen.  They are no doubt the 2 most exciting guys in college ball to watch, and they will fight from here on out to see which is the better player.  How Jodie handles this newfound publicity will be the key.

I really don’t think this will ever get old….
